Coaching, Reflective Groups & Consultancy

Prioritising psychological - and physiological - safety, and trauma-informed practice is essential for ethical and effective legal proceedings and investigations

Our unique perspective

Employers are increasingly responsible for safeguarding their employees' mental and emotional health, especially when they are involved in high-pressure environments, managing distressing materials, or giving evidence.

Bridging the gap between the legal and human aspects of the legal process is essential. With decades of legal experience, we understand the complexities and pressures involved.

This means we can skip lengthy explanations and focus directly on providing tailored, targeted support to meet your needs.

I suffered a traumatic event whereby I was assaulted at work by those who were meant to protect me. I did not know how to cope and I did not know how to deal with a lot of emotions. I had a series of six coaching sessions which enabled me to get through the proceeding months…. [You] gave me a series of coping tactics that I will take with me throughout my life. [You] gave me the space to exude and explore all my emotions, and… did not judge.

Camilla and Rebecca are obviously expert in their subject and communicate the science and concepts in a clear and interesting way. But what sets them apart is their extensive legal experience. They know, at first hand, the difficulties that vicarious trauma can pose to barristers, both personally and in their practice. This allows them to connect directly with, and gain the trust of, the barristers at their sessions so that they feel able to engage in the training in a full and open way. As a consequence, their training was very well received in chambers and we plan to work further with them in the future.
